PrepMaster ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data when you use the PrepMaster platform.

• Account Information: Your full name, email address, and chosen password when you register.
• Profile Data: Your exam type, selected course, JAMB subject combinations, and state of residence.
• Usage Data: Quiz attempts, scores, competition entries, leaderboard positions, and platform activity logs.
• Financial Data: Deposit amounts, withdrawal requests, wallet balances, and transaction history. We do not store bank card numbers or sensitive banking credentials.
• Device Data: Browser type, device type, and general location (state level only, used for personalisation).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve the PrepMaster platform; personalise your study and competition experience; process deposits, withdrawals, and subscription payments; send important service notifications and email updates; prevent fraud and ensure platform security; and comply with applicable Nigerian laws and regulations.

PrepMaster does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g., email delivery, cloud hosting) strictly for operating the platform. We may also disclose information where required by Nigerian law or legal process.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for financial compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

PrepMaster employs industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure HTTPS connections, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and data; object to processing of your data for non-essential purposes; and lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in Nigeria.

8. Children's Privacy

PrepMaster is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of PrepMaster after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
